JUNGLE SNACKS

- Make a Monkey Milkshake: This drink is made entirely with fruits that originated from the rainforest. Not only are these drinks delicious, but also they are super healthy.
What you need for 1 drink:
1 orange, juiced
1 papaya, peeled, cut and seeded
1 ripe banana, peeled, cut into pieces, and frozen
Blend all the ingredients in a blender. Add extra orange juice if it is too thick. Enjoy.

- Banana Boats with Ants:
Give each child half of a banana and let each child use raisins as ants on flat side.
- Trail Mix:
Allow children to help make a trail mix.
Allow children to help themselves using a paper cup for snack time.
- Animal Crackers:
Buy animal crackers at the store.
Have children find animals that
might be found in the rainforest: monkey, elephant, bear, etc.
- Yummy Rainforest Chocolate:
Children are given bitter and sweet chocolate pieces to sample at snack.
Teacher takes survey of favorite kind and makes a graph comparing the two kinds

Chocolate Spoons:
What you need
1 cup of milk chocolate chips
12 plastic spoons
wax paper
How to Prepare:
Put chips in microwave for 5 minutes
Stir
Repeat until chips are melted
Dip end of spoons into melted chocolate and place on wax paper to harden
Use spoon to eat ice cream
