CREATING A DOCUMENTATION BOARD

Throughout this unit take photographs as the children engage in the wide variety of authentic activities. Post at eye level so children can refer to them throughout the theme. This helps children anchor the new learning. It also helps children with disabilities who have difficulty with long-term memory problems as well as children who need visual prompts to help expand their play.

These pictures will also be used during the closure activity to assess new knowledge.
