CAMPING GEAR TIPS

In order for children to truly experience a simulated camping trip, the right props are needed to set the stage. Ask parents and friends to help gather your camping gear to turn you classroom and playground into a campsite.

GEAR PROPS:

Camping Gear

  • Backpacks
  • Sunglasses
  • Suntan Lotion
  • Walkie-Talkies
  • Whistles
  • Tents (at least one for inside the classroom) and a few for outside, if possible). If you can not get a tent then use blankets have children create tents.
  • Water Bottles/ Juice Bottles
  • Campfire with Big Medal Pot
  • Binoculars
  • Magnifying Glass
  • Clear Container with Dirt and Worms
  • Rubber Boat with Fishing Poles and pretend Fish
  • Sleeping Bags with Favorite Stuffed Animals & Pajamas
  • Flashlights
  • Hats, Caps, Hiking Boots
